HR Officer (28 to 32 hours)

Could you, with your administrative and organisational knowledge, take our HR back office to the next level? Would you enjoy working for a medium-sized international and technical organisation in a very broad HR role? Are you resilient to hectic circumstances, able to prioritise and meticulous? Then you could be the person we are looking for!


What does your job involve?

You ensure that within the HR department, everything runs smoothly in both organisational and administrative terms. Accurate performance of the personnel administration is no problem for you. You will also provide support with recruitment and selection, training courses and absences.

Because we need to professionalise a number of processes, you play a role in the further optimisation of the department, in addition to your operational work. This translates into work on a number of projects to which you will make a contribution.

What will you be doing as our HR Officer?

You play an important role in helping to set up and implement HR projects and in optimising the HR processes. For 2020, for example, this means setting up and implementing a personnel information system. Your colleagues live and work all over the world. You are the first point of contact for all HR matters for all your colleagues. Independent performance of the personnel administration in relation to intake, advancement and exits. Supervision and management of absences and ensuring correct implementation of the Eligibility for Permanent Incapacity Benefit (Restrictions) Act (Wet Poortwachter). You are the point of contact and coordinate all work relating to agency workers and trainees on placement. 

What are we looking for?

  • You have qualifications in the field of HRM or Legal Services, with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.

  • You have strong administrative skills, are solution-oriented and have extensive experience with Excel.

  • Your knowledge of labour law is up-to-date.

  • Excellent verbal and written mastery of English and Dutch.

  • Relevant experience in an international technical organisation is certainly preferred.
