What will you be doing as our IT specialist?
You are our organisation’s IT conscience. You primarily provide a stable and secure infrastructure. You monitor, coordinate and improve where necessary, ensuring that the applications and hardware used provide optimal support for our processes. You closely monitor developments, including cybercrime developments, and you are always one step ahead. You take new opportunities and possibilities into consideration in decision-making. As the management’s IT partner, you also provide data and suggestions to enable them to determine long-term policy. You implement this policy together with application administrators and external IT partners and users.
How will you carry this out?
In concrete terms, this means that you manage the IT environment within Pas Reform and act as contact for the external system administrator. You determine IT procedures and guidelines that contribute to process improvement. You take the initiative yourself and come up with proposals. It is also your task to ensure that all those involved adhere to these procedures and guidelines. You coordinate and implement new applications and systems and integrate the various IT applications within Pas Reform, as well as their links with the branches abroad. If an IT problem needs to be resolved urgently, you get to work immediately.
What do you offer?
• You operate at higher professional education level, preferably in an IT-related field.
• You have at least three years’ experience in coordinating and implementing applications and systems.
• You are committed and are experienced in using a structured and project-based working methodology.
• You have a practical and result-oriented attitude, as well as an independent, flexible, service oriented and accurate approach.
• You do not have any problems with occasional international travel for your work.
• You speak and write English fluently.
What can Pas Reform offer you?
With our 100 years' experience, we occupy a prominent position on the world map. We continue to grow and offer you the scope to contribute and further develop yourself and your position. Despite our size, every employee counts. For our terms and conditions of employment, we apply the Collective Labour Agreement for the Metal and Electrical sector (Metalektro), which we supplement with our own company regulations.
