As an Operations Manager at Royal Pas Reform, your main goal is to achieve manufacturing objectives by managing employees, planning and evaluating department activities and (co-)determining the strategic logistics and production policy and realizing its implementation.
• Lead 10 to 20 employees on production-floor/warehouse and provide good training and a good working environment for them;
• Advise on strategic purchases/investments for the logistic and production team;
• Translate strategic plans (LTP planning) into your department plan;
• Manage the procurement of packaging, raw materials, transport and services;
• Determining the annual plans, the objectives and the departmental budget within the framework of the company policy in consultation with the COO;
• Analyze primary operational processes, identify bottlenecks and initiate and implement improvement projects;
• Draft and discussing methods and procedures regarding automation, layout or administrative issues;
• Discuss management issues as a member of the middle management team;
• Discuss personnel matters with the Human Resources department;
You have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 8 to 12 years relevant working experience;
You are able to develop key talent in your team through intensive dialogue and by providing challenge;
You are analytical and able to work effectively on improvements related to production and logistics;
You are able to stimulate, coach, and inspire your team and fellow managers;
Ideally you will have experience of leading production/assembly teams in a make-to-order environment and also of purchasing / outsourcing and general supply chain challenges.
Experience with working with ERP software and MS Office, shipping portals.
